Everything for your physical well-being

Food & Drinks

Franconian restaurants have something special about them. You will feel it immediately when you take a seat – perhaps by the tiled stove or in the cosy Englerth room. The hustle and bustle of everyday life is quickly forgotten here. And while our chefs conjure up your meal, you have time to enjoy the atmosphere. Whether for a dinner for two, a business invitation or a family celebration, we always offer you the perfect, personalised ambience. Lovingly decorated. Franconian hospitality at its best.

You are welcome to take a look at our seasonal menu and regional wine list in advance.
In addition, we offer daily recommendations on our daily menu for you. (Subject to changes in the maps).

Culinary delights

In Franconia, from Franconia, but of course not just for Franconia. We look forward to delighting you with regional delicacies every day. When we talk about Franconian cuisine, we mean our very personal presentation of specialities from our beautiful Franconian homeland. Freshly prepared with passion. Served with love. And served by a well-coordinated team with a passion for delighting guests with these specialities.

Seasonal freshness

You are welcome to visit us during the traditional theme weeks centred around typical regional, freshly caught fish, forest-scented mushrooms or the classic asparagus or goose season. Of course, always with the right wine recommendation from our Franconian winegrowers. And if you are not a fan of grape juice, we are also happy to offer various beer or non-alcoholic drink specialities.

Our regional mission statement

Regional roots

We live and cultivate a colourful, multi-faceted world view. We also love our regional roots and traditions. We endeavour to embody a corresponding mission statement in our daily work and vocation. We celebrate a regional culture simply for the joy of it, which for us is also and above all reflected in our endearing food and drink habits. As a tradition-conscious hotel inn, we see it as our duty and responsibility to make regional food and products the basis of our culinary art.

Domestic products

The kitchen at Gasthof Bären uses mainly products from local producers. Starting with game from local forests, the fish served comes from a regional fishery or from local fishermen and the potatoes or strawberries from Franconian farmland. And baked goods from the Würzburg bakery and wine from Randersacker and the surrounding area. Seasonal delicacies such as Franconian asparagus in spring or fragrant wild mushrooms from the surrounding area are celebrated according to the time of year.
